INDEPENDENCE — Arthur James Dilling, 56, R.R. 2, Otterbein, died at 11:50 a.m. July 30, 1999, in his residence. He had been in failing health for the past two years. Born March 23, 1943, near Brookston, he was the son of Arthur A. and Anna C. Eberle Dilling. He moved to Warren County in 1960. Survivors include: mother, Anna C. Dilling, Otterbein; brother, William J. (Dolores) Dilling, Attica; one nice, one great-niece, five step nieces and one step nephew. He was preceded in death by his father in 1978 and his sister Dorothy in 1986. Funeral services were 11 a.m., Sunday at Fisher Funeral Home in Williamsport. His cremains will be buried in Independence Cemetery at a later date. – jlr
